Terms of use

Draft 0.1. Last updated 31 Oct 2026.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Okayo app and okayo.com.lk. By using them you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.

Using Okayo

Okayo helps you track your vehicle papers, fuel, service, costs and fines. Use it for vehicles you own or are allowed to manage. Okayo is not a government service and is not connected to one.

Your account

You sign in with an email code, Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in safe. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile, Privacy and data.

Your data

The vehicles, papers, dates and records you add are yours. You give Okayo permission to store and process them to run the app for you. How we handle them is in the privacy notice.

Reminders and estimates

Reminders, due dates and late fees are estimates built from the dates you enter and published rules. Each rule shows its source and when it was last checked. For a province whose rules are not verified, Okayo shows no number. Always check the official source before you pay or renew.

Papers and backup copies

A photo in Okayo is a backup copy for your own records. It is not an official document. Carry the originals. Police don't accept phone photos of documents.

Pro and payments

Pro is bought and managed only in Google Play, and later in the App Store. Prices in the app follow your store. Pro is free for 30 days through Google Play, then LKR 3,490 a year unless you cancel. Cancel in your store account before the trial ends to avoid a charge.

Legal reminders are never behind Pro.

Sharing with family

If you share a vehicle, you choose each person's role. People you invite can see and, as editors, change what you share. Only the owner can remove people.

Fair use

Don't misuse Okayo, try to break it, or use it to harm others. Don't add data that is not yours to add.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. The app tells you when they change. You can stop using Okayo at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

Okayo is provided as it is. We take care with dates and rules, but we can't promise they are always right or that every reminder arrives. Wording on limits of liability and governing law comes from legal review.
